Old Farm Truck began in 2010 with a small group of like minded growers, drinking tea at my kitchen table. Being members of the Virginia Association of Biological Farmers, we all knew the value of healthy produce from rich soil and were looking for a way to share our fresh produce with our local community. We started gathering our produce with other farmers in the Northern Neck and began a mobile farmers market out of the back of our 1940 Chevy Farm Truck. Tarps blew down, crazy things happened but all of us involved have looked back on this journey as a joyful experience. Brothers, sisters, daughters, granddaughters, nieces, nephews, friends, farmers and community came together to drive this little truck market to what is now our "Old Farm Truck Market", a thriving and vibrant community of growers, bakers and artisans. Out of our no-waste mindset grew our offering of Farm Food Take Out, a seasonal menu of grab-and-go eats that ensures no produce goes to waste. Shopping with us means supporting your local land, local farmers, bakers and artisans of the highest quality.

For 20 years Berret’s Seafood Restaurant and Taphouse Grill has offered two dining choices in one convenient location. We are located in Merchants Square, one block from the Historic Area of Colonial Williamsburg and across from the College of William and Mary. We actively seek out the freshest in regional seafoods and produce. Our proximity to the York and James Rivers, Chesapeake Bay, and offshore Atlantic waters provide a variety of fresh seasonal catches: shad roe, softshell crabs and sea trout in the spring; flounder cobia, tuna, wahoo and bluefish in the summer; and rockfish, red fish and sea bass each fall. With the availability of local natural oysters and clams and the advent of aquaculture, we offer shellfish year-round.
