Farm Staff / Employee Positions (Full-time or Part-time)
Positions are available for spring and summer time with the potential of year around employment.
Our Employee position offers experience in all aspects of farm life including but not limited to:
Employees are expected to work on average 40-45 hours each week, most work occurring between 7am - 4pm Monday-Friday. All farm staff eat lunch together once a week. Employees are welcome to eat any of the fresh food coming out of the fields and gardens at any time throughout the season. In addition to daily hands- on work experience, employees will participate in regular staff meetings and farm education discussions. Everyone has access to the farm library. Employees need to enjoy working outside and be able to deal with all the vagaries of the weather, especially the heat of Tidewater Virginia summers. They need to be in good physical condition and comfortable with physical labor. Those who are passionate about sustainable agriculture, and interested in developing basic skills of farming and market growing, will have a very rewarding experience. Employees are asked to refrain from the use of tobacco, alcohol and drugs while working at the farm.

- Deliveries / On Farm sales
